The subtropical weather of New York City makes it a fun place to visit any time of the year. The multitude of New York attractions gives visitors a glowing first impression of a fast-paced environment. Millions of people are walking from all directions in and around the city. The neon lights of Times Square keep the city going 24 hours 7 days a week. Major airlines offer direct flights to the city that never sleeps. Plan for a business or pleasure trip.

If you’ve been fortunate enough to visit Lake Tahoe, you know of what I speak when I say it can’t be summed up with a few unworthy descriptors.  Sitting majestically in the Sierra Mountains, Lake Tahoe is simply stunning with the bluest – and coldest – water you can imagine.

I just finished reading a post written by our friend, Will.  I got to the end of the last paragraph, dried my eyes and immediately emailed Will and asked him if I could publish his post on my site.  Fortunately, he said, “Yes.”

We’re headed south of the border today, all the way south to San Bartolo, Baja.  We consider ourselves lucky in that we’ve twice been to Baja – Los Barrilles.

If it weren’t for the fact that I am oh so allergic to shellfish I would be all over this recipe sent to me by Pablo who lives in Los Barriles, BCS and is friends with my Monkey Sister.  Los Barriles is on the Sea of Cortez about 1 1/2 hours away from Cabo San Lucas.

Although no raw oyster has ever passed my lips (and fortunately, I have a good excuse in that I am allergic to shellfish) I very much enjoyed reading this post from my friend Kent.
